Ex-haus-ted.
Spent the day in London doing our casting. Saw 16 people – no wait, 17 – and gave the same little five-minute presentation explaining who we are, what we do, and why we want to cast people in these roles 17 times.
I think it was still pretty good, even on the 17th go-around….
Got a big post on the casting process coming, but I’m going to leave it until we officially announce why we’re casting, if that makes sense.
Being in London just reminds me why I left London. Also, got to say, the only thing worse than being stuck in a basement on a hot and sunny June day in London… is arriving and leaving during rush hour. Could have done without that.
Still, really useful and productive day. As always, all of prior expectations were overturned… but that’s a really good thing.
So what’s up with you guys? You’re quiet.

Hey,
Sounds like a ‘fun’ time in London, I really do not miss living in London at all, however my recent trip to Brighton reminded how nice a part of the world it is.
I really am curious about this casting business and can’t wait to see who it is. It has to be a new main character so should be pretty exciting I hope. When can we expect to find out?
All my internet hangouts seem quiet lately and I am no exception. Having returned from holiday I find work very busy and then any non-work time is spent trying to enjoy the weather and unplug for a while.
Getting excited about the opportunity to record TabulaCast with Tom Potter though this week!

I went on holiday to Macedonia last week. Anyway, my plane back was delayed by ten minutes, which meant I missed the last train to Derby (They shut the door in my face, gits). I tried finding a hotel but it’s all booked up for Wimbledon. I got threatened by 3 tramps (Dinars really aren’t useful for them), and I eventually got a Taxi to the Northampton services where my brother collected me.
It cost me £250, which is a considerable chunk less than the only room I found to be available (£470)
So I’m not friends with London right now

Ouch!
I lived in Wimbledon for a long time and every year it caused mayhem for those trying to go about normal business.

God Geoffrey, what a nightmare. Sorry to hear about that mate.
Shuttler – hopefully later this week on the casting announcement. It’s not a character for a new game (or a new game announcement) but hey, it’s pretty cool IMO.

Oh, I’d been assuming it was a character for Aeon or whatever it’s called

Have to agree that a) I’m really looking forward to finding out what this is all about, b) London is a suburb of Hell, and c) I have been quiet recently.
All the hints and things regarding this casting have me thoroughly intrigued. I can’t wait to see what comes out of it.
Have been on holiday, and a bit busy for the last couple of days catching up on work (but damn me, I needed the break). Normal (and probaly annoying) service has now resumed.
