Last week the webserver TTBM is hosted on imploded. Exploded. Whatever, it failed. The fact that it had been persistently up and down for the last six months was probably a sign of problems, but hey, what do I know, I’m just a customer.
As a result of the server meltdown, I lost a few comments, and also a few odd files here and there – mysteriously, including all the pictures in my recent UK Games Expo post. I’ll get around to fixing that.
I’m currently looking into alternative hosting; I may move, may not, just depending on how much hassle it might be (and if they give me any good reasons to stay).
Anyway, I’m certainly sorry for the outages and hopefully the situation will improve….

Yes, i have noticed the lack of *some* comments/files that were posted /uploaded… guess that is what happens when they do a 24hour roll back to the last known setting.
Shame that it happened to this blog though, as i do like what you put onto it.
Depending on how much you are willing to pay, i have to admit i have had minimal issues with oneandone.co.uk for my hosting (but then again it doesnt exactly come cheap though).
And on a brighter note: I feel sorry for the US shoppers (having watched ALL the WhistleBlowerZero stuff…. then again, having worked for Gamestation (which I have to admit does also do the same trade in for cash/store credit as Gamestop… at least we (or in my store at least) had reasonable prices for the pre owned games… not charging $5 less than the retail price (having Game in the same town center made price matching FUN FUN FUN!)
