Things of a busy nature

Eh, the delay between updates here is a little annoying to me. It’s annoying partially because I feel like I should update on a regular basis, but also because I know, in part, that I can’t update because I can’t tell you everything I’m doing – so even when I do say something, I might not be able to say everything. Sorry.

I’ve been busy, if that much isn’t obvious by the silence.

Working, processing

One week down in the freelance life. Honestly, it feels more like working two jobs than anything else, which is strange, as my brain has gotten used to having just the one job… but I’ll get by.

Eurogamer Expo is looking pretty damn good. There’s a list of games on the site right now, but tomorrow we’ll be updating it with more confirmed stuff – and there are at least a few more that should get added to that list before too long, as well. There’s still the possibility that even more publishers will sign up as well, so stay tuned on that. Not exactly a bad day out (or evening) for a fiver, and it’s going to charity too, sooo… you should go.

The other gig right now is for a small agency here in Brighton, Qube, who have been really cool and good to work with so far. I’m helping them with some community stuff on a game that’s shipping in a couple of months; probably not one you’ve heard of, to be honest. In a couple of weeks when the site that’s at the heart of it launches, I’ll happily link you along so I can engineer the tiniest boost in traffic… for now though I’ll keep quiet.
